Pakistan cricket team played a sensational inning against Australia to draw the second Test at Karachi's National Stadium, with skipper Babar Azam smashing an amazing century.

Through their impressive innings, Pakistan registered a record of playing the most overs by any team to draw a five-day Test match.

Earlier, England had played 165 overs to draw against South Africa in 1995, while Australia played 124 overs in 1950 against the same team — Proteas — to draw.

Pakistan are the first team in five-day cricket and the only second team in overall Test matches to play 1000+ balls in the fourth innings to save a Test match.

The other team to do so was England that played 218.2 of 8-balls over against South Africa in the time-less Test match played in 1939.
