Muslims in India have reached twenty crores!
While India's population is 142.86 crore, China's population is 142.56 crore.
According to this, India has 30 lakh more people than China. So India has come to the first place in the list of most populous countries in the world.
In 2005, the world population was 644 crore, while China had 130 crore and India 108.2 crore.
This is the first time India's population has overtaken China's since the United Nations began collecting and publishing population data in 1950.
By the middle of this century, India's population is expected to reach 166.8 crore, while China's population is expected to drop to 131.7 crore.
According to current calculations, the world population is expected to increase to 850 crores in 2030 and 970 crores in 2050. It is expected that the world's population will reach one billion in 2080 and will continue until 2100.
In this case, the population of Muslims in India will be 19.7 crore in 2023. According to the 2011 census, Muslims constituted 14.2% of the total population.The Muslim population then was 17.2 crore.
According to the report of the Technical Committee on Population Projections in July 2020, the projected population of India in 2023 is 138.8 crore. According to this, if we use the same 14.2% rate as in the 2011 census, the Muslim population will be 19.7 crore in 2023!
